She has been working as a tech writer for nearly 20 years, and her experience ranges from grocery chains to oil and gas companies to software, hardware, and cloud computing. She is also a freelance critic/essayist (specializing in genre fiction, which, while not strictly relevant to OpenStack, is a lot of fun). She lives in Austin, TX with her spouse, two cats, and a lot of synthesizers.
