Adrian Hoban is a Principal Engineer in Intel's Network Platforms Group. He is the system architect responsible for management and orchestration for Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualisation. He specialises in open source software such as OpenStack, Linux, Open vSwitch, KVM, QEMU and libvirt and has a particular interest in multi-core performance optimisation leveraging the advanced features of Intel Architecture processors. Adrian is active in standards initiatives and regularly consults with Intel customers on system architecture, design and performance optimisation.
