In this session, Jonathan Chiang, IT Chief Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory will take us on a tour of the missions and research his organization is undertaking to put humans on Mars by 2030. Each mission, such as the orbital carbon observatory (OCO), produces a massive amount of data, which his team is challenged to capture, move and help process. Join us as we explore the final frontier and learn how important well-utilized, flexible and open infrastructure is to achieve their mission.
