Is It Time to Have More than Just Python in OpenStack?

Since the beginning of OpenStack, there has been an explicit policy to have OpenStack be only in Python - and by "Python," we mean "CPython 2." But the world has moved on. Many well-regarded services are implemented in Java (e.g. Cassandra, Zookeeper, Kafka) and others are implemented in Go (e.g. Docker, etcd, others). Even Python has moved on, with all new effort focused on Python 3. This talk brings together a panel of people talking about experiences implementing OpenStack services or interfaces with Python 3, Java/Jython, or Go. Is it time to change the policy?
