Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

NetApp was a charter member of the OpenStack Foundation, contributing its first code in 2012 and has been heavily invested in the community ever since. In this session, we’ll offer a glimpse into two areas where NetApp continues to innovate to improve the lives of operators and users of OpenStack. Anurag Palsule of NetApp’s Manageability Product Group will demonstrate how we’ve extended Cinder, Heat, and Ceilometer to offer more dynamic management of resource pools to ensure balanced utilization and more proactive alerting to potential issues. Bob Callaway of NetApp and Dan Radez of Red Hat will discuss TryStack, a free production instance of OpenStack that is available for anyone to use. They’ll discuss how both companies are collaborating with individuals who are new to OpenStack to help them learn about the features, capabilities, and potential of OpenStack for a variety of use cases.
