Docker is as fresh and cool now as OpenStack was a few years ago and it seems every other CIO or CTO is eager for their IT organizations to be using it.    Openstack provides us a plethora ways to run Docker.    This talk will give a brief overview of Docker itself and will then describe a number of different ways to run Docker on Openstack ( or Openstack on Docker if you're truly crazy ) and discuss the pros and cons of each method.

We'll then discuss ways to operizationalize docker on openstack with tooling to help with tracking running containers,  collecting metrics and herding logs, as well as some ways to run your own private registry.

Finally we'll take some existing applications which may not seem to be good cantidates for running in docker containers and demonstrate some tools and techniques for making them more suitable to run in a container to show that even existing legacy applications can benefit from being containerzied without needing to modify them in any significant way, including taking advantage of service discovery.
