Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Achitecting for any cloud environment can be a challenge, but approaching it with the right mindset and focus can help can make your project a success.

Architecting for OpenStack first requires more than the IT department present in the room. Architecting for OpenStack is about setting realistic goals. In this talk I run through some of the common challenges and scenarioes I face when talking to customers when planning their OpenStack deployments and prepare you for the next meeting when discussing the project. I'll talk through short-term and long-term goals and strategies to help set more realistic expectations as well as a typical deployment life-cycle. At the end of the talk I want you to walk away understanding your own objectives more to set you up with success with your next OpenStack deployment.
